Data Acquisition System SRD

Data acquisition system SRD has been designed as a convenient tool in HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) supervision system. It contains a central module and a number of measurement modules (one central module can co-operate with maximum 247 measurement modules). Central module is responsible for gathering and storing of data that is provided by measurement modules. This data can, either periodically or constantly, be send via RS232 interface to a personal computer. TELDREAM company also offers a computer program that allows to download, export, print and handle data with ease. The SRD system has been designed to work without any connection with a personal computer, which is needed only to configure the system and to periodically download measurement data. General idea of the system has been shown on a figure below.

The offered measurement modules ANALOG INPUT MODULE co-operate with a wide range of sensors like resistance sensors (for example Pt100), thermocouples, sensors with current output either 0-20mA, or 4-20mA, with voltage output 0-1V, or digital output temperature and humidity UPTW sensor. The type of sensor the module co-operates with can be changed at any time allowing a flexible module usage during the whole exploitation period. High class elements used in the modules guarantee very good measurement precision as well as time and temperature stability. ANALOG INPUT MODULES are offered in two options with, or without LCD display.
Data Acquisition System All modules are connected with each other through popular and reliable interface RS485 MODBUS ASCII. Maximum distance between any two modules can be as large as 800 meters. This feature allows to gather data from a vast area. Every module can be activated by the button on a front panel, or remotely through a computer connected to the system's central module. Central module DATA LOGGER is responsible for the proper work of the whole system and for communication with a personal computer. It contains a non-volatile memory that allows to store up to 250 000 data samples and a real time clock that allows to store the exact time and date at which the samples were gathered.

TELDREAM company also provides a computer program that allows full configuration of the system, to activate and deactivate modules, download data and more. Gathered data can be presented using charts and tables. It is also possible to print any part of the stored data, or to save it as a file.

SRD system is designed to be able to co-operate with different kind of devices, like universal regulator URM12 produced by TELDREAM company, provided that they use the same RS485 MODBUS RTU communication interface. All future TELDREAM products will be equipped with RS485 MODBUS RTU interface. The data acquisition system SRD allows to easily and efficiently supervise all the production processes and climatic conditions in any area directly from a personal computer in an office.
